Pull It Together ART + DESIGN
March 2011 Graphic Facilitation @ Unleashed + Menlo Park Pres
I spent the morning of March 16th graphically facilitating for the Unleashed Network Conference here in rainy San Jose, CA.
I was honored to share the stage with great thinkers like Mark Scandrette, Ben Arment and Leonard Sweet. Really honored.

And in April I'll be graphically facilitating a staff meeting at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church in, yes, you guessed it, Menlo Park, CA.

Also in May, I'll be showing some paintings at a Young Life Capernaum benefit. pat pat

SHAKA APPRECIATES MY DESIGN
A friend/client of mine gave his business card (which I designed for him) to his own tattoo client, who just happened to be Shaka the comedian. And Shaka thought the card was cool.

:)

I'm glad Shaka's a fan.

Never underestimate the power of a nice business card.

SILVER TREES COMPLETE
Thanks to the help of a few other artists, WestGate Church now has a new backdrop for its stage-- 6 giant fake trees.
I scavenged and in some case sawed large eucalyptus branches, stripped the leaves, reattached fake ficus leaves and integrated "rice lights" amongst the leaves, then spray painted it all with silver Krylon to create a nature's chandelier look for the winter season at WestGate.

Graphic Facilitating at PACT's World Cafe on Homeless Transportation
DEC 1 2010: PACT (People Acting in Community Together) hosted a World Cafe event at Westminster Presbyterian Church to discuss the homeless transportation problem in downtown San Jose. Officials and experts in caring for the homeless and county transportation participated in a World Cafe style brainstorm session.
Charlie Thayer, provided graphic facilitation services during the session.
